Transportation

Getting around in Vicenza is very easy since most of the attractions are located in the centre of the city, which is easily covered on foot. Therefore, the traffic in the city is quite limited. However, if you want to do some further sightseeing outside the town and visit the two historic villas, you'd better get a bike. They can also be reached on foot, yet the heat in the summer season is devastating.
Cumulative ticket. There are two cumulative tickets if you want to make a tour around the local museums. The ticket allows you entrance to Teatro Olimpico, Museo Civico, and Museo Naturalistico Archaeologico. The second "Card Musei" includes admission to all of the above mentioned plus Museo del Risorgimento e della. The latter however is frankly rather uninteresting. The price of this ticket is 8Euros. Kids under 14 years of age are allowed free entrance.
